Mission-driven partnerships
Through Innomissions, Innovation Fund Denmark invests in four mission-driven partnerships. The partnerships bring together the key stakeholders and will develop, test and bring new green solutions closer to use in society and on the market.
What is distinctive about mission work is that solutions are developed in broad partnerships across research, business, public authorities and civil society. The missions create a shared direction for stakeholders who otherwise work from different starting points, but who contribute to the same goal. In this way, the missions provide a framework in which new knowledge, technology, regulation, investments and concrete needs can be linked more closely.
The four missions operate in areas where Denmark has strong capabilities to contribute to the green transition: capture, storage and use of CO₂, green fuels, climate- and environmentally friendly agriculture and food production, and the circular economy with a focus on plastics and textiles.

Mission-oriented innovation
Mission-driven innovation is an approach to solving complex societal challenges and creating systemic change. The missions bring together key stakeholders across research, business, public authorities and civil society around a shared direction.
