The theme targets activities that develop or apply quantum technologies, for example in computing, communication and measurement. This may include both basic research and application-oriented development.
Overall, projects within the theme are expected to help build
technological capacity and create new opportunities for applying quantum technology in society and business.

If your project has dual-use aspects, please also refer to the Defence and Security Technology theme, and remember to check whether dual use is permitted under the specific call. All programmes under the Critical and Digital Technologies theme can also fund quantum technology.
