My overview
The criterion for appointment to the committee is that the member must be a recognised researcher or have research expertise. In addition, the committee as a whole is appointed with a view to an equal distribution of both privately employed and publicly employed members, and of women and men. It is also sought that the chairmanship represents both the private sector and the universities.
