Innofounder

The application first undergoes a formal review and then a professional assessment. The best applications are invited to pitch, while the others receive a rejection.

At the pitch, you will have the opportunity to briefly present the entrepreneurial idea and the company. The panel will then ask follow-up questions.

Innovation Fund Denmark has expert committees that help assess applications for Innofounder.

The application is assessed as a whole based on three criteria, which are weighted equally.

• Quality of the idea: How clear, relevant and innovative the entrepreneurial idea is
• Impact: Whether there is a real need, a market and potential for value creation
• Quality of execution: Whether the idea can be realised in practice

You will receive the answer to your application in e-grant.dk. You will receive an email notification when the decision is ready.

You will receive a grant letter in e-grant, which you must accept within four weeks.

If there are conditions attached to the grant, they must be met before payments can begin.

The Innofounder programme can begin at the earliest two weeks after the grant letter has been signed and any conditions have been met.

The money is paid out to the company’s NemKonto.

The monthly grant (27,500 as a monthly grant or 100,000 as a development grant) is paid in arrears.

The development grant is paid out in two instalments – at start-up (80%) and after approval of the final accounts (20%).

The amounts are reported to SKAT via the CVR number.

You continuously follow your progress together with the operator, who is responsible for the sparring programme

If the project does not develop as expected, the programme may, in special cases, be stopped early.

You must notify Innovation Fund Denmark if significant changes occur during the process.

• This could, for example, be changes in the team, financing or idea
• Or if the company’s situation changes
  If the requirements are not met, the programme may be stopped.

When the programme ends, you must submit final accounts incl. an auditor’s statement and an evaluation in order to receive the final payment.

• The final accounts must be submitted no later than 3 months after the programme ends.
• It must be approved with an auditor’s statement
