New programme at Innovation Fund Denmark to build strong international research partnerships and develop groundbreaking knowledge and technology in strategic areas.
Would you like to help develop new knowledge and technology in collaboration with some of the world’s leading research environments? Innovation Fund Denmark is now launching the Global Research Collaborations programme to strengthen international partnerships and bring Danish research even closer to the global front line.
Strengthens strategic core areas and builds long-term relationships
The programme invests in ambitious research and technology projects in which Danish research institutions join forces with strong international partners. The aim is to create new knowledge within strategic core areas while also building long-term relationships that can strengthen Denmark’s competitiveness, research and security.
In 2026, Innovation Fund Denmark will invest at least kr. 49 million in projects under the programme. Co-funding of between kr. 2 million and kr. 8 million can be applied for per project, and Innovation Fund Denmark covers up to 90% of the project’s costs.
Project duration
Projects under Global Research Collaborations must be multi-year and aim to create a solid foundation for future collaboration between the participating parties. The projects must also address specific strategic areas, which are set out in the individual calls.
