After the application deadline, applicants will be asked to confirm their application in e-grant. A request will be sent to applicants via e-grant no later than four weeks after the application deadline. Please contact us if you do not receive this notification.
All Danish applicants are required to submit the international application, including annexes and budgets, in e-grant. Non-public organisations must also upload additional legal declarations to their e-grant case: “No undertaking in difficulty declaration” and “Financial and legal declaration”. In addition, SMEs must submit an “SME declaration”.
If funding is applied for under the de minimis rules, a “de minimis aid compliance form” must also be submitted.
The templates for the declarations can be found at any time under “Documents” below.
Applicants do not need to submit documentation to IFD before the deadline for the international application.

How it works – from application to project
See how you apply, and what your application must include.

You apply for Innoexplorer via the e-grant application system.
How to proceed:
- Go to www.e-grant.dk and create a user account
- Find the call under “Search options” (they all start with “IF”)
- Create and submit your application
You may write the application in Danish or English.
Also remember to attach:
- Max. 6 slides with information about your idea
- A signed budget
- A letter of support from your institution
- If relevant, a list of relevant publications (max. 1 page).
Please note that your institution may have internal deadlines that are earlier than the official application deadline.

Innoexplorer has a number of themes within which Innovation Fund Denmark can invest. Your application can either be placed within one of the themes or submitted outside the themes.
You can apply within:
- Green technology and innovation
- Life science, health and welfare technology
- Digital and critical technologies
- Or you can apply outside the themes if your project does not fit within one of the themes above

When you apply for Innoexplorer, you must complete an application in e-grant including both information and attachments.
In the application, you must, among other things: :
- Write a short summary of your project
- Explain how it fits within a theme (or outside the themes)
- Provide information about you, your team and your institution
