See whether International Collaborations is right for you

Who can apply?

Companies, research institutions and public organisations in Denmark can participate in the international programmes.

The options available to you depend on the individual call. That is why it is important to read the requirements for the specific funding opportunity before you apply.

What can you get funding for?

The international programmes are implemented via the following collaboration platforms:

  • Horizon Europe partnerships – support for research and innovation projects in a European context
  • EUREKA – market-oriented research and development projects with international partners
  • Global collaborations – collaborations across Nordic, European and other international frameworks, including bilateral opportunities
  • Nordic programmes – collaboration in the Nordic region, including through NordForsk

How much can you get?

How much investment you can receive depends on the specific funding opportunity, but there are some overall frameworks:

  • Up to EUR 300,000 per Danish partner
  • Minimum EUR 50,000 per Danish partner
  • Up to EUR 500,000 in total for all Danish partners in a project (unless otherwise stated in the call)

The funding rate varies from approx. 35% to 90%, depending on the project and participants, and includes any overhead. Remember to read the terms in the specific funding opportunity.
